The Acquisition Club, hosted by Mychal Richardson, runs a monthly room for the same people this club is built for. Rather than put two San Diego meetups on the same third Wednesday, we are running this one together. One room, both communities.

Open networking, start to finish. No agenda, no panel, no pitches, no run of show. Show up any time between 5:30 and 7:30 and talk to people who are doing the thing you are doing.
The five-beat format the club runs the rest of the year, with the main conversation, Needs, Deals, Wants, and intro matches, starts at the October meetup. First one is deliberately simple.
What to bring
One need, one deal, or one want, and the ability to say it in a sentence. “I am looking at HVAC companies in East County doing $1M to $2M of revenue” travels. “I am exploring opportunities” does not.
Who is in the room
Self-funded searchers and funded searchers, independent sponsors, people inside the first years after close, and the lenders, investors, and advisors who back buyers. You do not need a deal, a fund, or a closed acquisition to belong here. If you are still on a W-2 and planning the jump, this is the right room.
House rules
- Buyers outnumber everyone else, by design.
- No pitching. The only sanctioned selling is a thank-you: public credit for a referral or an assist.
